why Small Groups?

The earliest Christians started out in homes with just a few faithful believers meeting regularly to encourage one another. Then, Methodism began in England in the 1700s when a few Christians began to meet outside of church and figure out how to really practice their faith.

We carry on that legacy today. Meeting in small groups, just 6-10 people, outside of Sunday morning is one of the most powerful ways to grow your faith. In good times, you develop close friendships to laugh and share life with. In hard times, you're given a lifeline that anchors you.

If you're tired of doing life alone, or of trying to be a Christian alone, a small group is the place for you. You'll find support, encouragement, and freedom in walking alongside people just like you.

Small Groups @ Wahoo

Are you ready to take the next step in your faith and join a small group?

If you're ready, fill out our Small Group Interest Form, or call the Church Office. Most of the groups are affinity-based, either by age, interest, or something else. Because of the close-knit structure of small groups, not every group is actively looking for people to join. Rest assured, though, there is a small group that answers what you're looking for.

If you are open to starting a small group, and if you have people ready to join you, let us know that, too!
