In our Wesleyan tradition, we begin each new year with a Covenant Renewal Service. So on Sunday, January 1, we will begin the new year by reminding ourselves of God’s unending faithfulness to us, and our commitment to God. January 1, 2023, also happens to be the 250th anniversary of the beloved hymn “Amazing Grace,” which will feature prominently in our service.
