In the mid-1800s, settlers in Nebraska continued moving west, and Methodists joined them. In 1872, they organized a new church in the new town of Wahoo. After 150 years of changes, progress, and setbacks, Wahoo First United Methodist Church continues to thrive.
Join us at Wahoo First UMC in the season of Lent as we share and celebrate these 150 years. We’ll see where God has been there for us, share stories of our history, and dream about our next 150 years. Each Sunday will be a celebration, leading up to our 150th anniversary service on Sunday, April 24.
