We all come from someone, somewhere, and something. That is, we all come from a people, a place, and a story. The holiday season is the perfect time to remember the people, the places, and the traditions which have made us who we are.

It's also the perfect time to celebrate Jesus, whose birth on the first Christmas also shows us that Jesus came from a people, a place, and a story. He was an Israelite, born to reign on the throne of David and born to the young couple Mary and Joseph. He was born in Bethlehem, a tiny town whose lack of prominence was no problem for God's glory. And he was born into the pivotal moment of God's salvation story, a story that reaches to us.

Join us at Wahoo First United Methodist Church as we trace the roots of Jesus' life. In them, we'll see our own roots and how they draw us more deeply into the story God is weaving with our lives.
