Sometimes, the church is like a relay race. Leaders, volunteers, and pastors pass their batons to their successors to keep running the race of faith. Seasons of transition in churches can be times of anxiety or uncertainty, or they can be opportunities for increased enthusiasm and optimism as we trust the Holy Spirit to guide us faithfully. Throughout the Bible, too, there are great examples of new leaders building on what they have inherited.

Join us at Wahoo First UMC as we enter our own season of pastoral transition. In this worship series, we will prepare ourselves to hit the ground running with our new pastor, by building on the biblical foundation of healthy leadership in changing circumstances.
